Itineary

Day 1: We catch the early morning sailing to Scotland and travel along the Ayrshire Coast to the city of Glasgow where we make a stop so you can explore this magnificent old city.  Afterwards we travel onto our base for the next four nights, The Inchyra Grange Hotel situated on the outskirts of Falkirk.

Day 2: This morning we pay a visit to Stirling Castle.  The castle is one of the largest and most important castles, both historically and architectuarlly in Scotland.  Several Scottish kings and Queens, including Mary Queen of Scots have been crowned here.  After our tour, time is allocated for lunch, before we travel through the beautiful countryside to Glengoyne Distillery.  here we have a tour of the distillery which has been producing whisky for nearly 200 years.  After your tour, and a wee dram, we return to our hotel early evening.

Day 3: Today we make the journey through the heather and the glens to the shores of Loch Lomond, one of Scotlands most famous Lochs.  We take a cruise on the Loch and view the magnificent scenry of the Trossachs National Park, an area renowned for its beauty and tranquility.

Day 4: After breakfast we make the short journey to the capital city of Edinburgh where history and beauty combine to provide a feast for the eyes and the mind.  here we have a local guide to take us around and show the highlights of this magnificient city.  Afterwards, free time is allocated for a little shopping or for you to explore more of this fascinating city.

Day 5: Unfortunately we must leave this morning and travel southwards for our afternoon sailing back to Ireland, arriving home early evening.
