Join us on our popular day out to one of Ireland’s oldest traditional fairs “The Auld Lammas Fair”.
Thousands of people converge on the county Antrim town of Ballycastle to experience the atmosphere of the fair that first began in 1612 and has grown considerably in recent years.
Featuring about 400 stalls with different attractions including local delicacies such as Dulse (edible seaweed) and Yellowman (honeycomb sticky toffee) the atmosphere is coupled with street entertainers and musicians to add to that carnival feeling.
A large fun fair helps create what is a memorable day out. On our way home we stop for an enjoyable meal to finish off a good day out.
