Description
Enjoy the spectacular scenery of “The Garden of Ireland” on this tour to the wonderful county Wicklow. We pay a morning visit to Wicklows Historic Gaol and experience A Journey Back Through Time with a tour around one of Ireland’s most historic Gaols. Actors and audio visuals recreate Life in a Prison Environment with a few surprises along the way.
Afterwards we continue to the Vale of Avoca and a visit to Avoca Handweavers, Ireland's oldest manufacturing industry. See the weavers at work in the mill and taste the delights of home cooking as we allow time for lunch in this beautiful village.
Afterwards we continue through the Vale of Laragh and the historic town of Rathdrum before returning over the Wicklow Gap for our evening meal on our way home.
