New for 2010, we are delighted to announce the addition of a Mediterranean Cruise aboard the Ocean Countess in October. The ten night cruise travels along Portugal, Spain and North Africa, stopping off in Lisbon, Praia Da Rocha, Gibralter, Tangier and La Coruna. | |

Last weekend saw Matthews Tours launch their 4th tour brochure. They were joined by LMFM in the Scotch Hall Drogheda on the Saturday and on Sunday were celebrating in The Marshes Dundalk. 
People flocked out to join Matthews celebrate their launch with many taking time to see what tours where on offer and inspect the coaches that Matthews had on show.
People availed of the 5% discount with many booking trips around Ireland & The UK. Tour guides and staff were on hand to offer assistance to anyone enquiring on any of the tours explaining all aspects of the tours.

 The Inniskeen Heritage group are hosting a showcase of local talents and crafts on Sunday 7th March 2010 in the Round Tower Museum. There will be a demonstration of Carrickmacross Lace making. Lace and other craft items will be for sale on the day. A second hand book stall will also be available proceeds to the Round Tower Centre.  Matthews purchase over €13000 in Vouchers from Carrickmacross Chamber, Nice One Dundalk & The Marches Shopping Centre
MATTHEWS Coach Hire and Coach Tours Ltd, Inniskeen have given a big Christmas boost to Carrickmacross business by purchasing Chamber of Commerce shopping vouchers for their staff to the value of €4,000. The company will hand over the vouchers to its drivers and office staff this week by way of a Christmas bonus. Over the past two weeks local Company Matthews Coach Hire, have been busy collecting awards in safety and business growth. Starting with the Fleet Safety Awards, Matthews were awarded for the introduction of the Alcolock 500 Breathalysers & their very detailed Health & Safety policy in place in the company. This was awarded at a ceremony held in Marriot Johnston House, on October 6th, where they were joined by other coach operators.

On Tuesday October 6th, local coach operators Matthews Coach Hire were awarded a prestigious award in Safety, by The Fleet Bus & Coach Magazine. The awards, which are an annual event in the Coach Sector took place in the Marriott Johnstown House Hotel, and was attended by other coach operators in the country. Matthews Coaches launch new Elite Tour Coach 23rd February 2009 Last weekend seen the launch of Matthew Tours, new elite tour coach which, was the first in Ireland. Crowds flocked to The Marshes Shopping Centre on Sunday 22nd , to see the spec of this wonderful coach, with many people delighted and amazed with the comfort and space available on board.
